Grades 6-8. Each month, we'll discuss a different nomineee from the 2019 Rebecca Caudill Young Readers' Book Award List. Snacks and drinks will be served.
This month we'll be discussing "The Goldfish Boy" by Lisa Thompson, a novel about a boy named Matthew, who suffers from severe Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder and who passes the time by observing the comings and goings of his neighbors. Matthew unwittingly finds himself at the center of a mystery when a toddler staying next door goes missing. We'll talk about the book over snacks and drinks.
