Award-winning storyteller Fruteland Jackson shares the history of blues music through narrative and musical performance to illustrate its deep roots in American and African-American culture.
Fruteland Jackson is a three time Blues Music Award Nominee and a recipient of the Blues Foundation's "Keeping the Blues Alive" Award. Fruteland performs Americana, acoustic blues, folk traditional and singer-songwriter styles around the world. He is also the creator of the award-winning Blues in the Schools programs and a recipient of the Blues Foundation’s Keeping the Blues Alive Award.
