This month we will be discussing "What was the Great Chicago Fire?" by Janet B. Pascal, an illustrated nonfiction selection. This book includes many true facts about the huge fire that nearly destroyed Chicago when it was first beginning to grow, and how the city rallied and became the busy place it is today. Enjoy snacks and drinks while we talk about the book and complete fun activities!
